HVAC contractor JCAD originated from the increased need of contractors for CAD software that ‘thinks’ based on their needs. Often, the ‘secondary occupation’ of a contractor is HVAC engineering designs for detached houses and halls. The final drawings of larger contract sites are also the contractors’ liability.
The only CAD software available were clumsy, expensive, and complex, intended for designing offices or so-called lite versions which only offered a fraction of the necessary drawings.
HVAC contractor JCAD was created based on these starting points, and it is the most widely used design software among Finnish HVAC contractors!
